David Binns, a well known local artist has also produced a painting illustrating the natural history and the heritage of Glusburn & Cross Hills. Copies of this painting have been presented to Glusburn School, South Craven School, Glusburn Institute and to the sponsors, Landis Lund. The Primary School has been given fifteen additional copies, which have been laminated, for the children to use in a lesson. Copies of this painting are on sale at Brent Gallery, Keighley Road, Cowling. North Yorkshire Millennium Fund also assisted with the production costs.

A second booklet has been compiled by Gill Birks called 'Glusburn & Cross Hills, a Yorkshire Village Community'. This is a collection of accounts of the activities going on in 1999 which have been written by the representatives of village organisations. The printing costs have been sponsored by the Millennium Festival Awards, Dixon Target, the Printers and North Yorkshire Millennium Fund.
